A Post-Election Safety Plan

Alicia T. Crosby and AnaYelsi Velasco-Sanchez discuss the concept of creating a post-election safety plan, why some of us, especially those with marginalized identities, may feel compelled to create one, why that’s a normal instinct, and what a holistic approach to creating one is (considering one’s physical, emotional, financial, spiritual needs and more).

Oppression and Liberation Timeline

This timeline exercise is intended to be a broad but not comprehensive tracking of justice movements within the United States. While the timeline has a strong focus on racial and LGBTQ justice, it takes an intersectional approach in its inclusion of other movements such as women’s rights, disability justice, labor rights, and more. It highlights the intersections of these movements––reinforcing the interconnected nature of social identities and oppressive structures.
